Cornerstone International Bible University believes the following.
The Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God. They are divinely inspired and are the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
2 Timothy 3:15–17God is one, self-existent in three persons: God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Deuteronomy 6:4–5; Matthew 28:19Jesus Christ is Saviour and Lord. As Lord he was manifested in the flesh. We believe in his virgin birth, his sinless human life, his divine miracles, his atoning death, his bodily resurrection, his ascension, his present work as mediator and his personal return in power and glory.
Luke 1:32–33; John 1:1–4; 1 Timothy 2:5–6, 6:13–16The Holy Spirit is God, the third person of the Godhead. He dwells in every believer upon conversion and enables the believer to live a holy life, to witness in power and to work for the Lord Jesus Christ.
Acts 5:3–4; Matthew 28:19; Acts 1:8Man was made in the image of God, sinless by choice, and fell into sin. In God’s mercy, salvation comes to every lost and sinful person freely and simply by faith in Jesus Christ, who shed his blood for sin, and through regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
Genesis 1:26–28, 3:1–21; John 1:11–13; 1 Corinthians 12:13All believers in Jesus Christ are one body, the Church, of which he is the head.
Colossians 1:18; Ephesians 2:14–22Satan is a fallen angel whose intent is to supplant God and frustrate his purpose, and whose end is eternal punishment.
Revelation 20:10; Luke 10:17–18There will be a bodily resurrection of all the dead. Believers in Christ will rise to lasting blessedness, while unbelievers will rise to judgement and everlasting punishment.
Revelation 20:11–15; 1 Corinthians 5:9–10Join a dynamic theological institution of excellence in Africa, where the word of God and the unction of the Holy Spirit transform the lives of men and women.
